Collection: Cowboy Fast Draw Holsters (CFDA/XFDA)

When selecting a cowboy fastdraw holster, several factors should be taken into account. Consider your body positioning during the draw - if you lean back significantly, a slight cant (CFD17LR) or vertical rig (CDF5) may be recommended, as your body already aligns the gun with the target. A heavily canted holster may increase the difficulty of the draw in this scenario. Conversely, if you stand more vertically when drawing, a more canted holster (CFD15) may facilitate quicker aiming at the target.

Additionally, it is essential to assess your arm's comfort level when drawing. Our CFD17 is a high ride, CFD15 is a medium ride, and CFD15LR is a low ride. We suggest trying out various holsters at your local club or contacting us to discuss your requirements and to practice your draw using a mirror to ascertain the natural drawing angle for your gun.

All our rigs comply with CFDA standards and feature the Safeleg° in every holster to prevent accidental firing. Notable shooters, such as Quick Cal, Oregon Ranger, Flying Cowgirl, Stormie Weather, and Von Zipper, have used our products.

Once you have determined the appropriate rig style, the next step is selecting the design. The design possibilities are endless, and we encourage you to contact us to explore further. Our team is dedicated to ensuring you receive a holster tailored to your preferences. All our Fast Draw holsters are equipped with a built-in "SAFELEG," designed to deflect only WAX bullets used in the sport of fast draw.
